Joe Estephan had a plan for how he wanted to grow his preneed team and program at Forest Lawn Memorial–Parks & Mortuaries. He knew that his plan for growth wasn’t going to be easy. He also knew that he could rely on Precoa every step of the way to provide the necessary training, support, and materials needed to help him and Forest Lawn achieve their goals.
Forest Lawn has been a household name in Southern California for over 100 years, and a community resource for decades. Even with their history, there was room to improve.
One key to Forest Lawn’s success, and an element of Joe’s plan, was placing Precoa sales trainers in existing sales regions to assist in the training and development of the planning advisors in those areas.
The training and support the Precoa trainers provide is wide-ranging. It includes everything from hands-on training and role-playing to actually riding along on appointments and offering help and feedback on how to improve.
Joe noticed that as his team of planning advisors grew, the support team at Precoa grew right along with it. “Precoa does everything they can to give me the support I need. It’s not always easy, but I know that they are always focused on meeting our needs.”
Since Forest Lawn joined the Precoa marketing and support program in 2010, their preneed business has doubled.
